Introducing Carolina FC to Pathers Fans

When Charlotte won the bid for the MLS's latest franchise, Bank of America Stadium needed a facelift  fit for two teams. As part of a proposal for signage and wayfinding, a fan experience was developed to flex between the two teams using digital engagements.

The Carolina Zone has something for everyone. Larger than life Madden / FIFA complete with LED floors put gamers on the field. Augmented reality viewfinders transform the Charlotte skyline with fans' favorite players. For kids, facepainting stations put them into the action, and afterward they can send hand-written notes to their favorite players that get folded into a digital paper airplane and fly across the ceiling and onto the sideline.

Carolina FC Takeover

Digital media boards in the concourse transition the AR photo opp to include Carolina FC players while a massive dimensional logo is changed out for the Panthers helmet to create an affordable, changeable social moment.
